The EGR system returns part of the exhaust gas to the engine, lowering combustion temperature and nitrogen oxide emissions. It consists of the EGR valve, cooler and pressure and temperature sensors.
Over time the valve clogs, the cooler leaks and sensors fail. The engine then loses power and uses more fuel.
We check every part of the system and calibrate after replacement.
