The DPF traps soot from the diesel exhaust and burns it off from time to time during regeneration. It works together with the DOC catalyst and pressure and temperature sensors.
Common problems are a blocked filter, failed regeneration and faulty sensors, leading to power loss and higher fuel use.
We check the whole system, run a regeneration and find out why the filter is filling up.
